Since graduating Emerson last May I’ve developed a minor makeup obsession. Perhaps it’s a result off boredom or maybe a desire to look my age now that I’ve entered the working work. Who knows.
Because of this, I’ve acquired a large number of makeup brushes. Yesterday, after a mass room cleaning I decided that I needed a cheap and easy way to store my brushes so I don’t have to dig for them every morning. The result was the following:
I simply bought a cheap glass vase and some “mini-river rocks” from target and made something that not only complimented the aesthetic of my room, but was also functional. The best part was it all cost under $10!

Thank god you started blogging again! And I LOOOVE your makeup brush idea. I currently have mine in one of Anthropologie’s alphabet juice cups (hehe). I am going to rip off your idea.
